The Forest of Dean is one of England's few remaining ancient forests.   Between The River Wye and River Severn on the borders of England and Wales it boasts 27,000 acres of beautiful woodland to explore, many wonderful sites and local attractions and breathtaking walks.

The Cottage is located on a quiet rural lane and sits on its own, backing onto fields and surrounded by woodland. Opposite is the Gloucestershire Way, a great start for a walking holiday. In addition, there are many beautiful walks that can be taken in the immediate vicinity and at the end of the road is St Anthony's Well, a local beauty spot. You could easily find that you've been staying at the cottage for several days before you even think about using the car!
